You can still enrol existing stock as SDA ... but time is limited!
I've been involved in a few conversations lately where someone has said: "... you can no longer enrol existing specialist disability accommodation".
That is wrong.
The NDIS need existing housing stock; there's not enough housing available, and subject to certain conditions, existing stock is eligible for enrolment and SDA funding. But time is running out.
The implementation plan for the new SDA Design Guide says that it expects that all Existing SDA will have been enrolled by 1 July 2021. Interpret that as "no registrations will be accepted after 1 July 2021".
